The surfcamp offers a big flowery garden with hammocks, a mauritanian tent where you can relax. We have a solarium from where you can enjoy a nice sea view and see the sunset. The single and double rooms are located around the mainhouse in quite surroundings. The mainhouse offers a dormitary with 7 beds and two family rooms. We have sea view from the restaurant where the breakfast and dinner are served.

The location

The Surf House is very peaceful and located only 50 meters from the beach and one minute walk from the mythical spot of "N'gor right" as seen in the first "Endless Summer" movie. The camp does not have main electricity but we do have a solar system with full lighting,fans, plug sockets in each room for charging mobile phones etc., wireless internet, hot water and showers providing all comfort needed. All the employees of the surfcamp will always do their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Your bedroom is cleaned by a maid every day and we have a laundry service available.

Food

Our cook prepares your meal every evening alternating between European food one day and Sénégalese food the next. For breakfast we offer cofee, tea, honey, jelly, chokospread, fruits etc.. We try to make people discover the traditional food of Senegal which is very good and extremely tasty. For lunch there are a number of beachside restaurants serving freshly caught fish and grilled meats directly in front of the ocean. There are also two small shops within close walking distance of the camp selling drinks and anything else you may need.

Surf and Activities

Located on the most Western point of Africa the nearby mainland peninsular attracts swell from the North, West and South offering potentially Africa's largest and most consistant swell window. For a view of the spots click here.We always do our best to make sure that our guests are at the best place at the right time. Additionally if you would like to try some other activities on the Island we can organise fishing, snorkeling, wakeboarding and scubadiving, and of course you can also just relax on the beautiful white sandy beaches.

The night on the Island

The night life on the island is very calm and quiet. At the camp we organise some barbecues with music and there is always a place to have a drink on the beach. You can also take a boat to the mainland which is only 5 minutes away where you will find exciting discos and bars. We promise that you will find what you are looking for...

Prices:

- Single room: 400 Euros per week & per person

- Double room: 350 Euros per week & per person

- Triple room: 300 Euros per week & per person

- Dormitary: 250 Euros per week & per person

The price includes - airport transfer by taxi and boat - half board(breakfast and dinner in the evening) - daily local surf guide to the best spots of the day, tourist guide, nice and clean rooms.
